With a focus on breath, core engagement and proper alignment, mat pilates is an effective, low-impact workout designed to help you increase strength, stability and flexibility, improving overall functional movement and posture. Classes will include a mix of joint mobilizing movements/stretches and challenging, muscle-toning exercises that will leave you feeling calm yet energized. Using a combination of Muai Thai Kickboxing and High Intensity Interval Training I have created a class to challenge your strength, fitness and warrior mindset. Martial Arts will strengthen you both physically and mentally, with enfaces on strikes, strength training and cardio fitness. You will not only learn and develop stand up fighting skills but increase your overall fitness in a fun and unique way. *good fitness level required for this class
Booty Barre & Band
This method applies the fundamentals of Pilates and yoga with bands, helping to strengthen and sculpt the body. Unlike other barre programs, this method will work the entire body and utilizes fluid and full ranges of motion, which helps prevent injuries as it more closely mimics how we move in real life. Burn fat, tone the entire body, and as the name implies, The Booty Barre & Band method works on creating a tighter, higher behind.
Pilates exercise is a safe and highly effective way to stretch, strengthen and streamline your body without building bulk or stressing your joints. Pilates is a perfect complement to cardiovascular exercise, sport, rehab and life. The Pilates exercises will leave you looking toned, feeling revitalized and moving with ease. Tone and Condition
Are you ready to challenge yourself this summer to tone up improve your posture and core, but most importantly to feel better? Come join me and a few of your friends on the island for an hour of weight lifting and cardio fun!
The first part of the class will focus on improving your strength, balance, core and building lean muscle mass. The second part will be conditioning through the use of cardio movements as well as weights and/or body weight. We will end with a cool down. Come prepared to work and sweat, but leave feeling proud of yourself! This class is for people of an intermediate level.
