I am in my 40s and I am healthier and happier than ever.
Like many of us my life has been full of ups and downs and I continue to look for balance as I find my passions in life and work hard at them. Seven years ago I beat cancer naturally and this experience shook up my entire thought process about my health and how I look after myself, body and soul.
So why would I want to puch in a yoga class?
Yes it may sound crazy, but to me its makes perfect sense. I am merging my two passions Yoga and Martial Arts into one class. I love the peace and mindful movements of yoga. Being aware of my body as I move slowly to explore different Asanas challenging my strength, flexibility, deepening my breath and working to find inner peace and calm.
Then I go to a Kickboxing class and the moves are fast, fierce, my strength and cardio fitness is challenged and each time and I leave energized, motivated, feeling accomplished and empowered.
To me this is a true balance and expression of life being able to be fierce and clam through movement and learning to embrace all emotions (good and Bad) and why I have developed Badass Yoga and Tiggy Health Lifestyle.
